Graduation Day!
This summer has been pretty exciting. Not only have we been getting ready for our baby girl, but Renee graduated from the University of Washington with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in June. Her family came to the ceremony and my folks came up from California to celebrate the big day. It was a great time to recognize 4 years of hard work and dedication. God knows I couldn't do it. What I didn't realize was that there was one final step: State of Washington board exams. This caused a certain amount of stress; caused in no small part due to mixing a 5 hour exam with being 7 months pregnant. After studying non-stop for weeks, Renee took the exam on August 2nd and we found out she passed last week. I couldn't be more proud of her. Even Chester posed on the big day! ~Scott

First Post
Here we go, dragged kicking and screaming into the digital age. (Why does this feel like a journal that everyone gets to read?!?!) Fifteen months ago we ran our first marathon. Now we're having a baby instead of running 15 miles every weekend. We're both a few pounds heavier, but at least Renee has an excuse. I like to tell people Renee's having a girl and I'm having a boy. We're less than six weeks (hopefully) out until our baby girl arrives and we're very excited. Everything is almost ready, though we still reconfigure the baby's room every week. Here are a few pictures that show our soon to be baby. Scott
